Lucky Butterfly Charm (Blue Sky)

This butterfly knot is made using Mizuhiki, a traditional Japanese craft of decorative knotted cords.  It's called the "kanou musubi" knot, which means "knot for realizing wishes" - considered a lucky knot for having one's wishes come true.  You can carry it as a good luck charm item.

The mizuhiki coloring uses a combination of navy blue, pale blue with glitter, and blue to create a blue sky color scheme.  It's carefully finished with blue crystal glass accents.  The mizuhiki is made of washi (Japanese paper), so it's very light.
